My Mission

Fall of 2011 I will be joining Mercy Ships as a long term missionary. I was hired in the position of Writer for the PR department. I am so blessed to have a job that will be ministering to the people of West Africa on a daily basis and being an advocate for them. I will be their voice so the world can know the good works God is doing in West Africa.

God has given me the gift and passion of writing. I hope to be able to use this to help the world see the amazing work of God. While doing so, I will be interacting, ministering, and just plain loving the people we seek to help on the Africa Mercy ship.

Mercy Ships is a non-profit Christian organization that runs a hospital ship off the west coast of Africa. The ship is in port for 10 months and conducts free surgeries and medical services while in country. After the 10 months and a short maintenance stop the ship and crew then move to a different West African country. Mercy Ships also has on-land programs to help the people of Africa. Such programs consist of Food for life (agricultural school) Well and Latrine program, dental program, basic first aid programs, and more.

I will meet up with the ship in Sierra Leone this coming fall and help to be God's love in action and help the worlds sickest and most forgotten poor. I can only do this with the support of my brothers and sisters in Christ. I ask that you pray for me and this mission - that I am able to raise all of my funds so that I may freely serve God.
