My Future Dream is becoming a Present Reality

I have long desired becoming a missionary but felt as though I had nothing to bring to the table. So I sat back and dreamed. I dreamed that one day, God will find a way to use me. Well, that day is closer and closer to my present reality. Anticipation is about killing me, waiting to hear if now is my time...

I'm in the process of applying to Mercy Ships. It is a non-profit medical ship that works in West Africa. They conduct free surgeries for the poor, forgotten, neglected, and abused. These surgeries include cleft palate repairs, clubbed feet, cataract surgery, VVF repair, and tumor removals. I've applied to several positions and now I wait. I wait for my references to be completed and I wait for the processing of my application. I should know for sure by February what exact job I'll be doing on the ship Africa Mercy.

I'm so excited for the future God has in store for me. This is my Kaleo...my calling...my purpose in life. And now I have to patiently wait for this calling to actually begin! Thank you for your prayers and support. All through my life, I would have never gotten to this point if it weren't for those who have been my supporters :)

Don't worry, I'll keep you all updated on the progress of my journey.
